from Barcelona's airport on public
transport. |

There's a train line which connects
Barcelona's airport with Sants train station.
From here, the hotel can be reached directly,
by metro, without any line changes. It takes,
approximately, 40 minutes to get to Hotel
Princesa Sofía from Barcelona's airport.

Route A) Train and Metro |
|

1) Train: Barcelona's Airport - 'Sants
Estació': (20').- Take the C2 train line to
reach the city centre from Barcelona's
airport.
Trains arrive/leave the airport every 30
min. On the way back to the airport, trains
can be boarded at 'Clot', 'Passeig de Gràcia'
or 'Sants Estació'. The closest station to
the hotel to go to the airport is 'Sants
Estació'.
2) Metro: 'Sants Estació' - Hotel Princesa
Sofia: (15').- Inside 'Sants Estació' go to
Metro lines (indicated clearly) and take
Line 3 (green), direction 'Zona
Universitària' and, after three stops, get
off on 'Maria Cristina' station. From here
it's just a 5 min. stroll to the hotel down
the emblematic 'Avinguda Diagonal'. |

Route B) Aerobús and Metro |

1) Aerobús: Barcelona's airport - 'Plaça
España'. (25-30').- Besides trains and taxi
cabs,
there's also the Aerobús service, which
links the airport with different parts of
the city. It's frequency is 15-20 min. and
it has stops in all of the airport's
terminals.
2) Metro: 'Plaça España' - Hotel Princesa Sofía (20').-
The best combination to reach the hotel is
to get off at 'Plaça España' and from there
take Metro's Line 3 (green), direction 'Zona
Universitària' and, after five stops, get
off on 'Maria Cristina' station. From here
it's just a 5 min. stroll to the hotel down
the emblematic 'Avinguda Diagonal'.
Aerobús ticket prices: 4,25€ single and 7,30€
return.
Only buyable on-board and not compatible
with the T-10 transport ticket. |
